重组人白介素6（Recombinant Human IL-6）是由纤维母细胞、单核、巨噬细胞、T 淋巴细胞、B 淋巴细胞、上皮细胞、角质细胞、以及多种瘤细胞所产生。IL-1、TNF-a, PDGF、病毒感染、双链RNA及c AMP等，均可诱导正常细胞产生白介素6。白介素6能够刺激参与免疫反应的细胞增殖、分化并提高其功能。IL-6R广泛表达于活化B细胞、静止T细胞、NK细胞、骨髓瘤细胞、肝细胞、髓样白血病细胞等表面。IL-6的主要作用是促进B细胞增生分化和分泌抗体，对肝细胞、T细胞、神经组织、造血系统也具有广泛效应。IL-6具有抗瘤效应，也可直接或间接增强NK细胞及CTL的杀瘤活性。
