Interleukin 11 (IL-11) is a member of a family of human growth factors that includes human growth hormone, granulocyte colony-stimulating factor, and other growth factors. It also promotes the proliferation of hepatocytes in response to liver damage. Binding to its receptor formed by IL6ST and either IL11RA1 or IL11RA2, It activates a signaling cascade that promotes cell proliferation.

生物活性
白细胞介素 11（IL-11）是人类生长因子家族的一员。IL-11是一种血小板生成生长因子，直接刺激造血干细胞和巨核细胞祖细胞的增殖，诱导巨核细胞成熟，导致血小板生成增加。它还促进肝细胞对肝损伤的反应增殖。作为一种重要的细胞因子，IL-11 会促进慢性胃炎症，并与 STAT3 和 STAT1 介导的肿瘤发生相关。此外，IL-11也是IL-13诱导的Th2介导的炎症性疾病和组织重塑中不可或缺的因子。IL-11具有多种生物学功能。IL-11 还参与 NF-κB 信号通路，抑制 IL-6 可以减少结肠炎相关的肿瘤发生。
