重组人CNTF蛋白 (HEK 293）是从鸡胚眼组织中分离纯化的多肽，经培养鉴定为鸡胚睫状副交感神经细胞的营养因子。蛋白构造：CNTF (Met1-Met200)，Accession # P26441-1。

存储及稳定性：在接收后，该产品在低于-70°C的环境下保持稳定长达6个月。重组后，产品应在4°C下稳定1周或在-20°C下稳定3个月。为了长期保存，建议添加载体蛋白(如0.1% BSA)。避免反复的冻融循环。
生物活性：ED50 < 0.2 μg/ml，使用TF-1细胞进行细胞增殖实验测定。后续研究表明，CNTF是包括背根神经节感觉神经元、交感神经节神经元、胚胎运动神经元、大盆腔神经节神经元和海马神经元在内的其他神经细胞类型的生存因子。CNTF也被证明可以防止轴突切开术后运动轴突的变性。人类CNTF基因被定位在11号染色体长臂的近端区域。CNTF跨物种高度保守，表现出跨物种活动。人和大鼠CNTF蛋白序列的同源性约为83%。CNTF在结构上与IL-6、IL-11、LIF和OSM相关。所有这四个螺旋束细胞因子在其受体复合物中共享作为信号转导亚基的gp130。
