生物活性

E-Cadherin is a classical member of the cadherin superfamily. The encoded protein is a calcium-dependent cell-cell adhesion glycoprotein composed of five extracellular cadherin repeats, a transmembrane region, and a highly conserved cytoplasmic tail. Mutations in this gene are correlated with gastric, breast, colorectal, thyroid, and ovarian cancers. E-Cadherin has a potent invasive suppressor role and it is a ligand for integrin alpha-E/beta-7.

Recombinant Human Cadherin-1/E-Cadherin/CDH1 expressed the target gene encoding Asp155-Ile707 with a 6His tag at the C-terminus.
