生物活性：CD48抗原，也被称为b淋巴细胞激活标记BLAST-1, BCM1表面抗原，白细胞抗原me -102, TCT.1, CD48, BCM1和BLAST1, CD48含有一个Ig-like C2-type结构域和一个Ig-like V-type结构域，但是没有跨膜结构域，而是通过一个GPI定位点通过一个c端结构域剪切在细胞表面形成可溶性的受体。CD48可能促进活化淋巴细胞之间的相互作用，并参与调节t细胞活化。CD48作为环境传感器在调节祖细胞数量和抑制肿瘤发展方面发挥着重要作用。提示抗cd48单抗有潜力成为治疗多发性骨髓瘤的有效单抗。
