生物活性：血管紧张素转换酶2 (Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme 2, ACE-2)是血管紧张素转换酶家族的一种完整膜蛋白和锌金属蛋白酶，ACE家族包括体细胞ACE和生发ACE。ACE-2将血管紧张素I和II裂解为羧肽酶，将血管紧张素I转化为血管紧张素1-9，将血管紧张素II转化为血管紧张素1-7。ACE-2还能高效水解apelin-13和dynorphin-13。ace2在睾丸、肾脏、心脏、结肠、小肠、卵巢中均有中度高表达。卡托普利和赖诺普利作为经典的ACE抑制剂不抑制ACE-2活性。ACE-2可能在调节心功能中起重要作用。
