重组小鼠GM-CSF蛋白是一种造血生长因子，能促进中性粒细胞和巨噬细胞的发育，促进早期红系巨核细胞和嗜酸性祖细胞的增殖和发育。GM-CSF由内皮细胞、单核细胞、成纤维细胞和T淋巴细胞产生。GM-CSF抑制中性粒细胞的迁移，增强成熟终末细胞的功能活性。人和小鼠分子具有物种特异性。

以剂量依赖性刺激小鼠FDC-P1细胞增殖ED50为≤0.05 ng/ml，对应的特异性活性≥2×10⁷ IU/mg。
