胶质神经营养因子,又称GDNF和ATF-1,是一种属于TGF-β家族的神经营养因子。ED50 < 8.0 μg/ml,在使用C6细胞的生物测定中测量。Accession # P48540。

生物活性: 它在中枢神经系统(CNS)和非CNS组织中都有表达。GDNF通过一个由RET和四个GFRα受体中的一个组成的受体系统发出信号。它促进多巴胺能神经元的生存和分化,并增加其高亲和力的多巴胺摄取。在小鼠帕金森病模型中,GDNF已被证明能改善运动迟缓、僵硬和姿势不稳。GDNF还被证明可以调节肾脏发育、精子生成和影响酒精消费。
