生物活性：大鼠MIP-3 α/CCL20对CHO-K1/ G15/rCCR6细胞(人G15和大鼠CCR6在CHO-K1细胞中稳定表达)Ca2+动员实验的EC50值小于0.6 μg/ml。MIP-3α在肝脏、淋巴结、阑尾、PBL和肺中表达，可通过CCR6受体发出信号。对淋巴细胞有强的趋化作用，对中性粒细胞有弱的吸引作用。MIP-3α通过淋巴细胞和树突状细胞向黏膜淋巴组织周围的上皮细胞吸引而参与黏膜淋巴组织的形成和功能。促进记忆性CD4+ T细胞粘附，抑制骨髓未成熟祖细胞集落形成。
