重组人Noggin蛋白（Recombinant Human Noggin Protein）是一种在软骨形态发生和关节形成过程中不可或缺的因子，同时也是骨形态发生蛋白 (BMP) 信号传导的有效抑制剂，在神经管和体节的生长和模式形成中具有重要作用。此外，Noggin还可用于多种类器官的培养。

重组人Noggin蛋白（Recombinant Human Noggin Protein）可与转化生长因子-β家族的配体结合，通过抑制其与信号受体的通路来调节其活性。Noggin最初被确认为BMP-4拮抗剂，其作用对头部和其他背结构的正常形成至关重要。转基因小鼠在成熟成骨细胞中过度表达noggin，表现为成骨细胞分化受损，骨形成减少，骨质疏松严重。
由 ATDC 软骨细胞所产生的抑制 5.0ng/ml BMP-4 诱导碱性磷酸酶产生能力确定活性。这一效果的预期 ED50 为 2.0-3.0 ng/ml。
DNA 序列编码人 noggin（NP_005441.1）表达带有 His 标签在 C 末端。
重组人noggin 包含 211 个氨基酸，预测的理论分子量为 23.9kd。
