生物活性:人NAP-2/CXCL7对CHO-K1/Ga15/hCXCR1细胞(人Ga15和人CXCR1在CHO-K1细胞中稳定表达)Ca2+动员实验的EC50值小于0.1 μg/ml。NAP-2已被证明可以结合CXCR-2并吸引和激活中性粒细胞。虽然CTAP-III、β-TG和PBP代表了NAP-2的氨基末端延伸变体,并具有相同的CXC趋化因子结构域,但这些蛋白不表现出NAP-2活性。最近,研究表明,CTAP-III的额外氨基末端残基掩盖了暴露在NAP-2上的关键ELR受体结合域,这可能是NAP-2缺乏活性的原因。
