Recombinant Mouse BMP-4 Protein 是一种 TGF-β超家族配体，从早期胚胎发育到成年期都广泛表达。小鼠 BMP-4 与小鼠 BMP-2 有 85% 的氨基酸序列相同，与其他小鼠 BMP 有 35%-54% 的氨基酸序列相同。BMP-4 通过由 I 型（主要是 Activin RIA 或 BMPR-IA）和 II 型（主要是 Activin RIIA 或 BMPR-II）受体组成的四聚体复合物发出信号，其生物利用度受其与多种蛋白质和糖胺聚糖的相互作用调节。
