生物活性：神经营养因子-3 (NT-3)是神经营养因子NGF家族的成员之一，在结构上与β-NGF、BDNF和NT-4相关。NT3 cDNA编码一个含有信号肽的257个氨基酸残基前体蛋白和一个原蛋白，经裂解得到119个氨基酸残基的NT3成熟蛋白。成熟的人、小鼠和大鼠NT-3的氨基酸序列是相同的。NT-3选择性地促进中枢神经系统和周围神经系统中特定神经元亚群的分化和生存。
