重组人白介素18（Recombinant Human IL-18）又被称之为γ-干扰素诱导因子，是一种炎性细胞因子，属于白介素1家族，可以由巨噬细胞和其他细胞产生。IL-18和IL-12相结合能够产生抑制IL-4依赖的IgE和IgG1产生的作用，并且促进B细胞产生IgG2a。IL-18结合蛋白（IL-18BP）能特异性的与这种细胞因子相互作用，从而起到负向调节的生物活性。在体外实验中，IL-18和T细胞受体介导刺激能够诱导天然的CD4阳性T细胞进一步发展为IL-4产生的细胞。
在TNF-α存在的情况下，用KG-1产生IFN-γ的分泌量检测，ED50为 5~30 ng/mL。
