重组人IL-22蛋白（Recombinant Human IL-22 Protein）由T淋巴细胞产生，抑制Th2细胞产生IL-4，并诱导肝、胰出现急性反应物。IL-22是IL-10调节性细胞因子家族的成员，IL-22信号通过一个由IL-10Rβ/CRF 2-4和IL-22R组成的受体系统传递，这两种受体都是Ⅱ类细胞因子受体家族的成员。
重组人IL-22蛋白包含152个氨基酸，预测分子量为17.6kd。DNA 序列编码人 IL-22（NP_065386.1）表达带有 His 标签在 C 末端。
重组人IL-22蛋白的生物活性取决于它在受体配体相互作用下激活STAT的能力，以其诱导人结肠癌细胞分泌IL-10的能力为指标，预期ED50效果的指标为0.7~1.0ng/mL。
