重组人EGF蛋白（Recombinant Human EGF）是一类重要的生长因子。EGF 是有 53 个氨基酸分子组成的肽链，链中含有 6 个半胱氨酸分子，半胱氨酸分子间形成稳定的双硫键，使整条肽链成为三个环联部分的活性物质。EGF 作为丝裂原广泛用于神经干细胞的体外培养，并可作为诱导剂促进神经干细胞向神经元、星形胶质细胞和少突胶质细胞分化。
通过用 Balb/c 3T3 细胞进行细胞增殖测定，测得的ED50为 ≤3 ng/mL。
