生物活性：内皮抑素(P. pastoris)是胶原蛋白XVIII羧基末端结构域的切割产物。它作为一种抗血管生成细胞因子，在各种器官中表达，尤其是在肝脏、肺和肾脏中表达水平较高。内皮抑素通过阻断VEGF和fgf的促血管生成活性来抑制血管生成。体外研究表明，内皮抑素可以阻止内皮细胞增殖和组织成新的血管。在动物实验中，内皮抑素抑制肿瘤原发和继发转移的血管生成和生长。
