重组人白介素 1β（Recombinant Human IL-1β）是一种在多种细胞中产生的促炎细胞因子，包括单核细胞、组织巨噬细胞、角质形成细胞和其他上皮细胞。IL-1α和IL-1β与同一受体结合，具有相似的生物学特性。然而，IL-1β是一种分泌型细胞因子，而IL-1α主要是一种细胞相关的细胞因子。IL-1β具有广泛的活性，包括通过诱导 IL-2 释放促进胸腺细胞增殖、B 细胞成熟和增殖、成纤维细胞生长因子样活性、滑膜细胞释放前列腺素和胶原酶等。
重组人 IL-1β 蛋白包含 159 个氨基酸，预测理论分子量为 18.2kD。DNA 序列编码人 IL-1β 表达带有 His 标签在 C 末端。
通过用 D10 细胞进行细胞增殖测定，测得的ED50为≤0.1 ng/mL。
