重组人IL-15蛋白（白细胞介素 15，IL-15）是与IL-2具有相似结构的细胞因子，IL-15通过一个由IL-2/IL-15受体β链（CD122）和通用γ链（gamma-c，cd132）的复合体传递信号。IL-15是由感染病毒后的单核吞噬细胞（和一些其他细胞）分泌。IL-15能够调节T细胞和NK细胞的活化和增殖。
DNA 序列编码人 IL-15（P40933）及 IL-15RA（Q13261）带有 Fc 标签在 C 端。
用 CTLL-2 细胞进行细胞增殖测定，ED50为 0.2~3ng/mL，相应的比活性为>5×106IU/mg。
预测分子量为 12.8 kD 和 33kD
