重组人白介素12（Recombinant Human IL-12）也称之为NK细胞刺激因子（NKSF）或者杀伤性淋巴细胞成熟因子（CLMF），它是一种多效细胞因子，最初是在人成熟的B淋巴样细胞系中鉴定的。

重组人IL-12蛋白是一种多效细胞因子，最初是在人成熟的 B 淋巴样细胞系中鉴定的。IL-12 主要由单核细胞和巨噬细胞产生，也可以由 B 细胞和 DC 产生。 IL-12 是一种异二聚体细胞 因子，由两个独立的基因 IL-12A（p35）和 IL-12B（p40）编码。IL-12 受体主要位于 T 细胞和 NK 细胞上.IL-12 可以刺激 Th1 和 NK 细胞生长，同时抑制 Th2 细胞反应。IL-12 可以通过促进 IFN- γ和 TNF-α的分泌以及抑制 IL-4 的产生增强 T 淋巴细胞和 NK 细胞的细胞毒性。
通过其诱导人自然杀伤性淋巴瘤 NK-92 细胞分泌干扰素γ的能力来测定，该效应的 ED50值为 ≤2 ng/mL。
